2026 Edition

The Second International House Museum Days will take place on April 18-19 2026.

This collaborative initiative led by the Italian National Association of Houses of Memory (Italy) with ICOM-DEMHIST and ICOM-ICLCM (International Committee of Literary and Composers’ Museums)  is dedicated to celebrating historic houses, houses of memory and the figures they commemorate. The event will provide the framework for a global focus on Historic House Museums.

We invite house museums from across the world to join us in planning special activities for April 18-19  – tours, concerts, workshops for children and adults etc.
We aim to create a blossoming of events on these days across the world, all linked under the title of the event and using common title and graphics that we will send to every participating museum.

Remember – this is YOUR event, the more houses that take part, the more of an impact we will make!
