DEMHIST Board Elections 2026
In 2026, DEMHIST will hold elections to choose a new Board.
To stand as a candidate, you must be a DEMHIST member in good standing (both individual members and institutional members designated representatives are suitable)

Call for Candidates
The nomination period will be open from 4 May to 4 September 2026, in accordance with the ICOM election guidelines.
To help potential candidates better understand the role, we have prepared an informative document explaining the work of the DEMHIST Board, which is carried out on a voluntary basis.
Application Requirements
Candidates are asked to submit:
- A completed application form, saved as pdf.
- A short CV
- A photograph
- Letters of recommendation (optional)
- A copy of their ICOM membership card with the 2026 sticker (optional)
Practical guidelines for board members
Soon we will publish a complete calendar of the elections, following ICOM guidelines and including a “Meet the candidates” meeting.
