ICOM has reintroduced the annual Young member travel grant for members to attend ICOM events and International Committee conferences. DEMHIST is able to offer this grant to one person to attend our 2026 DEMHIST conference in Versailles.  The grantees will have the opportunity to make new contacts and develop their capacities and knowledge which they will be able later to share with colleagues in their home countries.

Grant : 1200 euro

Please note that the deadline is June 10, 2026, midnight CET.

Requirements for Application

1. 35 years of age or under.
2. able to write and understand English fluently and be full-time museum employees.
3. individual members of ICOM and of the International Committee whose meeting they wish to attend.
4. aware that young members who have received grants in the last three years (2023, 2024 and 2025) will not be given priority for a grant in 2026.
5. up-to-date with their membership dues for 2024, 2025 and 2026.
   New ICOM members who joined the organization in 2025 must have paid their dues for 2025 and 2026.
