Get ready for the next edition of DEMHIST Open Talks! In June 2025, we will explore the theme: Parallel Narratives in Historic House Museums.

Together, we will explore parallel narratives—the coexistence of multiple, sometimes competing, stories within a single historic house museum. From shifting interpretations over time to contested memories and overlooked voices, we will investigate how museums can embrace complexity rather than erase it. The theme and Call for Papers can be downloaded below and we are looking forward to your presentation proposals – both for papers and virtual tours.
